The gDTS will be involved in various golf events in Phoenix during the course of the lecture phase. Some of these events include the Phoenix Open, Tales of the Tour, Game Day, PING tour, The First Tee, Golf-A-Thon fund raiser and possibly serving a few tournaments.

Students will not only learn the game better for themselves but gain tools to teach others for the outreach phase of the gDTS. Playing golf and giving instruction will be an important part of the second phase of the gDTS.
